Lip Blush Tattoo

The lip blush tattoo treatment is similar to a brow tattoo in which a pigment is used to create a desired colour that lasts longer than regular makeup. The pigment is inserted lightly under the skin using a very tiny, controlled needle (very minimal pain, lots of numbing creams are used before the treatment is carried out).

Before arriving at this treatment, you will need to spend 5-7 days prepping your lips with a lip scrub to remove any dead, dry skin cells. This procedure CANNOT be performed on dry lips. Any natural lip exfoliate scrub works.

Please keep your lips moisturised before your treatment.

Your lips will be mapped out perfectly beforehand. At this stage, you can discuss what you do and don’t want before the treatment is started. You can choose your colour. You do not need to select your shape or colour before you arrive for your treatment.

A perfect outline will be tattooed on in your chosen colour before the rest of the lips are coloured in. The outline will not be visible once the rest of your lips are filled in. This outline will help to create a fuller, more perfect lip with an even colour and tone once healed.

Please let Silke know if you have any pigmentation (dark patches) in your lips as some pigmentation cannot be tattooed over.
