For what ever reason you have, you may decide your semi-permanent makeup is no longer for you, or you may feel you want to update the look you currently have / change the colour they have faded to.

Mudhoney Beauty offers a treatment called Botched Ink. Botched Ink is a gentle yet concentrated hypertonic saline solution. When its implanted into the skin, the area worked on then dries out. If the skin contains tattoo pigment, this will dry out too, lifting and removing the pigment during the skins natural healing process.

Botched Ink can remove colour that’s lasted too long, mistakes or tattoo regrets. It can also lighten faded permanent makeup so that you can have a fresh top up with more defined hair strokes or a totally new type of permanent makeup such as The Ombre Blush Brow (the powder brow).

You may be happy with the shape and definition of your tattooed eyebrows but they are a little too dark. Botched Ink can also lift pigment from an over saturated eyebrow or very dark eyebrow and make them lighter.

Things to note:

Any kind of tattoo removal is a process. You will need to have in mind that mentally and financially you need to commit to a course of three treatments to notice a difference. Everyone’s skin is different and treatment courses can vary. Having a course of three treatments will help us assess how easily the pigment is removing from your skin.

Most clients see an improvement after 2 to 3 sessions. Initially the pigment may look darker before it gets lighter. The newer the tattoo, the closer the pigment is sitting to the surface of the skin meaning the quicker it will lift. The older the tattoo, the deeper it has dropped under the layers of skin and we will work to lift this and bring the ink back to the surface, hopefully resulting in most of it being removed should this be your end goal.

How much is Botched Ink?

• The first session of Botched Ink is £100 and will take up to 1 hour.
• The second session is £85.
• The third session is £65.

After the third session, we will assess the colour and fade that we have reached and If further treatment is required to reach your goal, every session you choose to have will be £65 thereafter.
